Merry Christmas (Eve)! Between today and tomorrow I’m planning on binging a bunch of Holiday Movies (not Die Hard!) – here’s my list (not necessarily in order):

- Elf (2003)
- Buddy, a human raised as an elf, finds out that he doesn’t actually belong in the North Pole so he goes to New York to find his real father
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
- An outcasted Who hates Christmas so he decides to ruin it for everyone else
- 8 Crazy Nights (2002)
- Davey Stone, a wayward man, gets his final chance to redeem himself or wind up in jail
- Home Alone (1990)
- Kevin McCallister gets his wish to be alone for Christmas, but has to face burglars who had been planning to rob his house
- Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
- Kevin McCallister hops on the wrong flight and spends another Christmas fighting off the “wet bandits”
- Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
- Jack Skellington finds that Halloween isn’t the only fun holiday
- Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
- Kris Kringle claims to be the real Santa, but he must prove it to everyone or wind up in an institution
- Bad Santa (2003)
- Willie T. Stokes, a drunk criminal, befriends a young boy and begins to soften up into someone you would….almost…root for
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (1964)
- Rudolph, left out of all the reindeer games, saves misfit toys and then Christmas itself
- Frosty the Snowman (1969)
- A group of school-kids try to save their new friend Frosty who came to life after putting on a magic hat
- Christmas with the Cranks (2004)
- Determined to go on a cruise for Christmas, the Cranks fight hard against the Christmas traditions until an unexpected guest announces they’re coming over
- A Christmas Carol (1984)
- Ebenezer Scrooge hates everyone, especially on Christmas, but the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future show him the error of his ways
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
- The Griswolds are trying to have the perfect Christmas, but cousin Eddie shows up with his usual antics
- Fred Claus (2007)
- Nicholas Claus bails his brother, Fred, out of jail and brings him to the North Pole
- Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town (1970)
- The story of how Kris Kringle became Santa Claus
